I, Marina, became a Christian in 1992. I was so happy and filled with God’s love that I couldn’t help but share God’s love with the people around me. With other new believers, I would sing gospel songs at bus stops or in parks. We were eager to share the gospel. I attended a lot of Christian conferences and seminars in Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus, and finished a 2 year Bible College. After several years of serving in my home church as praise and worship pianist and being with a ministry in many Belarus villages, God called me to serve a 2 year term as a missionary in Poland, serving as the leader of the praise and worship team at a Bible College.

An author I have enjoyed, Ann Lamott, in her book, Traveling Mercies, says she knows only two prayers that really work. One prayer is “O God, Help me! Help me! Help me!” The other is “O God, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” I guess our prayer is, “O God, Help us find our birthmom!” It is hard in a single letter to describe who we are but I will try to give you an overview and we pray one day we will meet.

We have always believed that God chooses the circumstances that bring people together.
